Just a few minutes away from Villa Bossi, the famous Air Panas hot springs are located in the hills of Banjar village, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The water, considered "holy" by the locals, has a pleasant temperature of 38° Celsius and is slightly sulfurous. Eight fierce-faced carved stone animals pour water from a natural hot spring into the first bath, which then overflows into a second and third larger pool. In the third pool,water pours from 3 meter high to give you a pummeling massage.
A visit to Air Panas can be combined with a visit to Brahma Vihara Arama, Bali’s single Buddhist monastery and just 1.5 kilometers away from the hot springs.
